SHORT-LIVED PERTURB’D, REPLACED BY PERPLEXITY; should the grandfather not be in the same house, much less– atmosphere– as his welcome’d kin? perhaps visitation had been in order upon the rukon outskirts (and hence, kuchiki byakuya now wondered why such a feat had any interest to him). though he should inquire, regardless–

4. Mun and Writing: In regards to my writing style, para/multi para/novella. I do not despise one line RPs, but I'm not a fan of writing starters and getting a one liner in return. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to match my exact length, especially if I wrote a starter.
5. Mun and Follow(ing): I do go on unfollowing sprees. If we have interacted and you have been inactive for more than three weeks to a month, I will unfollow you-- unless I know why, or simply know the mun personally. If we have never spoken, or interacted, chances are I will unfollow you after a week to two weeks of inactivity. I never follow, unfollow to capture attention. If I do this, it is because I meant to hit 'dashboard' and hit 'unfollow' by accident. Also, I do not follow other Byakuya roleplay accounts. This is a personal preference of mine, but I will gladly talk to other roleplayers OOC! Finally, sometimes I unfollow because frankly, the content of your blog is disturbing and not something I want to see on my dash.
6. Mun and Interaction: On the subject of interaction: This is a selective blog! I do not always follow back and sometimes I drop threads (always for a good reason and I will always notify you). That being said, if you wish to drop a thread, please tell me-- simply deleting every response and pretending it never happened is a little hurtful. Also, I do not interact with other Byakuya roleplay accounts, save a crack or ooc chat. This is a personal preference of mine, but I will gladly talk to other roleplayers OOC! Lastly, I feel I must add that Byakuya and I have little time for brats. Treat us the way you and your muse wish to be treated.
Exclusivity: As it has come to my attention that not I do not roleplay with duplicates because my interactions are semi-private, I am creating this rule. If we have discussed as such, I fully expect that you do not roleplay with other blogs of my same muse, but you are free to follow them, talk to them, and roleplay crack with them (as that is considered out of character); in return I will not roleplay with duplicates of your muse, save crack and other out of character chats. This is a step I am taking to secure more complete interactions, and potentially become a more private blog. I will not lie to you, this is also to avoid general drama and jealousy over petty things. As addressed in my following rules, if your blog becomes inactive for weeks without proper notice (i.e. hiatus), I am free to unfollow you and interact with other blogs of your muse, and vice versa. Please also be aware that this is in no way meant to make anyone feel 'bad' or 'less', it is simply out of personal preference. In short, I am a blog open to mutual exclusivity if discussed.
Specific Users: I'm sure it is no secret that I do not get along with a specific set of users in this fandom as of the summer of 2014. I will not badmouth these users publicly, as mentioned in my FAQ, under any circumstances. However, this is my blog and I reserve the right to interact with whomever I wish and I will terminate interaction due to harassment or other abuse. As of February 16, 2015 I will not interact with you out of character or in character if you associate with users I would rather avoid. In order to minimize all contact with them specifically. Please understand that I am not trying to make you choose between friends, this is only for my overall health and safety. If you are in need of somehow understanding why I made this rule, I am more than willing to share my side of the story with you and I suggest you consult my FAQ. That being said do not harass either of these users in my defense or in my name.
7. Mun and Activity: I reserve the right to go on hiatus whenever I need to, for however long I feel I need to. That being said, simply because I am not actively writing does not give you permission to gossip about me and/or take things from this blog.
This all having been said, if you do not follow these rules I am ultimately free to not roleplay with you and unfollow you, as it shows you have no respect for me and/or my muse. Please also understand that all subjections may apply. Including writer's block, school work, etc. And I will try to work with you as best as possible!
Loneliness plagued him early. His mother dying shortly after his birth. His father left him, the humble and beautiful Soujun that had been with him always— left with his grandfather, whom was barely seen around the manor, and thus left Byakuya to perform and consume himself in the obsession of being the heir that the Kuchiki would be proud of, that his grandfather would be proud of and to honor his parents’ memory. It has been made noteworthy that not all Kuchiki leaders possess the strength of Byakuya; a goal achieved.
His view on the matters of life, and dignity are altered when he marries Hisana— his family sneers, and he embraces the woman near death. Byakuya is not one to judge on where a person gulps their first breath, titles are to be earned, not bestowed by a bloodline. Perhaps it is this acceptance that led him to encounter Renji as his lieutenant. Their sense of reality, their likes and dislikes, mere personality is so abruptly different that they feed off of each other— and the cool, monarch that is Kuchiki Byakuya wants to see the loudmouthed rukon succeed, but he also wishes to make it clear it won’t come with ease. Whilst Byakuya gives himself to others in more ways than one, superiority will always be imminent for the white emperor until his true rival rises to the challenge. He is generous, but not spineless.
And it is this sense of dignity and grace in everything that he does that strives for perfection. His oath to Soujun, his oath to Hisana, Rukia— he came to the conclusion of what his father deemed as more important, he placed human value above society, and finally accepted Rukia into his heart. And she only grows more in his fondness. Kurosaki Ichigo defied him when his belief in the law was resolute, and he sometimes finds the bit of envy in the boy’s freedom to speak and do as he wishes.
He does have a sense of humor; a chuckle most often at Renji, his lieutenant that is far closer to the noble than even he realizes. He is a sheer elegant being, poised and alert— his mind is bright and intelligent, well able to take care of itself in any emergency. Truly he counts his blessings, and has never wished he was anyone else. Independent, but willing to give affection in his own plausible way, and for those who know him and recognize this, are the ones that he will always hold close.
